Joan, It is a thrill to train, work with a dog and to see it all come together. Dogs who hunt are trained to do what is not natural to them. They only hunt "our" way to make us humans happy. MRS. BLUE and I made a big deal of the Yellow Pup's birds and told him what a good boy he was, when I got him home. (This is very important as he is bonded to my Wife so if birds make her happy, he will bring her home birds). He is very proud of himself and his birds and even the Ol' Yellow Dog had to admit it was a fine 909 brace of Blue-winged Teal. I made sure the Yellow Dog Pup knows they are "his" birds (I just get to eat them). Yum yum fresh Teal n bonesuckin.com 909SBLUE
