I suspect sector shift will be a factor. This is such a dominate pattern. Picking the right sector next up to bat is the key to short term trading. For a little longer term picture, as it relates to recent IPO's, I think you have to look for the * quality * companies that could turn out to be your "blue chip" inets. They will hold their value relative to the market. Of the crop recently turned out, I point to Lionbridge as an example. (You knew I was going to mention them. <g>). Maybe others could cite some more examples - investigation of the business model and all factors considered that make it a quality candidate. These are just my thoughts.

An example of sector shift is illustrated by our recent interest in on-line brokerage firms. I think that will turn out to be a good call.
