>>re. QCOM stack hard to interface with

Hi Caxton,

1. Interfacing to the MSM3000 "is a bitch" to quote a source at a Japanese company just up the road in Carlsbad.

2. QCOM staff I have spoken with are well aware that the MSM3000 stack left a lot to be desired. I don't know if these have been addressed in the latest chip offerings.

3. Ease of use for MMI developers is a key selling point for both the DSPc and LSI chipsets. The LSI chips uses the ISOTEL stack (a good design, by the way). ISOTEL was recently acquired by DSPc, which will complicate life for LSI.
