Thread,

I have no position in or on Brocade, but I have an interest in knowing which of their products (existing or planned) may employ Rambus memory technology. I understand at least some do or will, but have been unable to confirm. I've searched the Brocade website, as well as the messages on this thread to no avail. Is there anyone here that has any insight into the uses of Rambus tech in FC switches? Any response would be much appreciated.

BTW folks, it looks like you are on to a screamer here judging by the recent runup in BRCD stock. I wish I knew more about the technology and the company. I may start to pay more attention.

All the best,

jack

this company has been consistently losing money since 1997.
The only positive number on their quarterly reporting statements has been their market cap, everything is either a negative or loss. Revenue grew only 30%, Price/Sales at 216, price/cash flow at -414 but the stock has risen almost 2000% from their suggested IPO price of last April. But not too many of us were smart enough to make 200 points and got out!. Wait until October maybe you could buy this stock again at a 100% discount, This is too pricey for me now at a time when Nasdaq is making new highs and BRCD is going down.

Mohan, you may want to reconsider as I just took a short position at 217.
