Tokyo was inexcusably muggy. There was too much to do this time, so I was thankfully excused from karaoke duty. In any case, Japanese corporate entertainment budgets aren't what they used to be, so it was not too hard to get off the hook.

As expected, my company has been redisorganized. Don't touch that dial, things will get curiouser and curiouser...

Small Town Police Log ~ Sept 8: (verbatim)

~ 1:25 pm Aug 31: theft: Caller advised that her Les Schwab Battery had been stolen from her vehicle, a dead Die Hard Battery was left in its place. Officer was given information.

~ 2:33 a.m. Sept 3: flight: Caller advised a male knocked on his door and advised there are several subjects wanting to "beat him up." Officer contacted.

~ 9:22 p.m. Sept 3: assist public: Caller reported seeing a female subject in an electric chair slumped over. Subject appeared to be headed toward the direction of Main Street from Figaros. Officers responded.

[Comment: I think this chair is for a disabled person, not to disable a person.]

~ 1:42 a.m. Sept 5: noise complaint: Caller reported subject outside apartment was attempting to get into apartment. Somehow injured and was bleeding from the head. Arrested. [Got one!!]

~ 7:20 pm Sept 5: missing persons: Caller reported her fiancee missing for two days.
