Netwit,

Tokyo Joe is an 'alleged' stock manipulator. He has been under investigation by the SEC for pumping and dumping stocks. He may have a legitimate business but I am simply telling you what his reputation is.

Cheers,

Steve

***OT***Netwit, this cat is famous for his paid membership gig. There is free info on his site and stuff just for the paid members. He has received much press, including an article in MONEY last spring. He has been investigated by the SEC a few times too. He has been know to move stocks. I personally think he had something to do with the past run on MSGI a few months back.

netwit-- tokyojoe is a pump and dump, as others have said. i think what he actually does is frontrunning, which is telling his paid subscribers to buy a share with a small float, driving up the price, but then, unbeknownst to his subscribers, he shorts the stock, driving it down but he makes the profit both ways. it's legal because he apparently discloses to his subscribers that he does this, but they still pay him anyway. it's sort fo sleazy, ion my view, because he is doing the very opposite fo what he is telling his subscribers to do. anyway, that's his legend. scarecrow is the resident tokyojoe expert on this thread. if he had anything different to add to what i've explained, i would yield to him.
