CA voted for a change. They had had sixteen years of Republican governors. They, like the rest of US, will be ready for a change after 8 years of unprecedented corruption in the Democrat White House. Gore cannot hide from his outrageous support of that corruption or his own fecklessness so he shall take the fall. Expect a major Republican effort in California as Bush is poised as the strongest contender since the greatest, RR, bestrode that landscape. Reason? Republicans know that they must make gains in the legislature and they should, given history.
