Interesting. It reminds me of a magazine article I read in 1992. That article stated that Americans had billions of dollars in 5 1/4% passbook & NOW accounts and if a good portion of that money instead found its way into the stock market, Dow 3000 or even Dow 4000 could be seen in our lifetimes!
