And I do recall sending this reply to that posting of yours: Message 10333891 And also, thanks for your kind words. My association with India has been second only to my association with the US. Even my exposure to Britain is not as much as my exposure to India. So, obviously I have a very good feel for life over there as well as concern for the place. After all, I lived there for years and have made friendships that are intact even now. As for the way I present myself, I don't see how I can water down, for instance, my criticism of the bigots of the RSS and the VHP. It is not just a case of a philosophical difference, where I can nicely disagree with them and refer to them as gentlemen with whom I have differences of opinion! No, if one side callously disregards human rights and the other side fights against it, it is no longer a mere difference in philosophy. It is much, much more than that.
