Stunning! Ni over 7200, ni supply about to decrease secondary to strike that Inco is orchestrating, [did someone forecast last winter that Inco would orchestrate a strike to goose prices when laterites had to cover positions] Inco apparently has reserves to sell (or they wouldn't take the strike) and the stock is up 4%. The funny thing is, is that if you place an N in the quotes box at the upper left, SI says Inco was up 7/16, or 42c US today or 1.9%. Gee CMR was up 1c or 1.6% today. Who cares?

Well, it's a free website, and I suppose if I can post that Gary Bettman is vermin, Dave can post that Inco went up.

Hey Dave, if you venture out of metals/mining take a look at Birmingham Steel. Apparently their management sucks and the guy who made Nucor into the shining star of minimills and his buds have bought 12%, presumably in a takeover attempt. Stock went to 9.5 on the news, then sold off to 6 3/4 and now is up to 7 3/4.

I think they just make junk steel, angle, rerod, and they get their power for something like 2.4c a kwh. Anyhow, they don't have to worry about Ni prices as far as I know.

We're gonna have problems with the thread if we venture too far afield.

No one seems to want to discuss Indonesia. World's 4th largest population (China, India, what's 3rd, and Indonesia). World's largest Islam population. Multiple ethnic groups living under military occupation, a zillion islands spread over, I think, 3000 miles. All separatist groups encouraged over recent vote and now harsh repression.

What does the West do? Even minor economic sanctions likely to lead to complete economic collapse.

Chart shows Inco could be heading higher yet. Looking to sell 1/2 call options. Will post which ones.

Anyone subscribe to the TSE Insider Report?

No word on CMR financing?

No word on feasibility study for Maskwa?

Bigger blocks are up for sale in the 0.67-0.70 cent range.

Laterite squeeze is on, definitely. Glad I when with the big boy, INCO.

Not much CMR news to talk about...so hockey, Inco whatever!
