to: Zoltan from: truedog Z,when Texas was admitted to the union, it was granted the right to split into five individual states. I would have to go back and reread whether there was any time constraint of this but, don't believe there was. If there ever was a time to do it, now is it. Think about the effect on the entire U.S. if faced with EIGHT more senator like Hutchison and Gramm. Oh what a glorious day that would be. BTW, Texas also represents cattle but they are the four legged kind...TD
