<<So what do you figure Dennis, a bunch of homosexuals are being arrested for "hate crimes" against heterosexuals?>>

That is possible under the law. But I must confess that I have never heard of homosexuals beating up a heterosexual. Have you?

<<If you really want to look at people as belonging to sub-groups>>

Unfortunately in this society there are sub groups and I would love to have them eliminated as you suggest. But I must deal with reality and the reality is our society as a whole puts people in subgroups. Laws do not create sub groups society does.

<<I can't prove it but I think more hate crimes are done by adults against adults. How many fat adults have been beaten up since they became adults? How many fat people have been killed because they are fat? Hate crimes are not a school yard problem.

Well, here is the problem isn't it? You don't know. But you are willing to create laws which divide our society. Why? Why not simply punish the behavior, without regard to these other issues?>>

You are ducking the question. Do you think adult fat people are beat up cause they are fat? Do you think adult gays get beat up because they are gay?

<<There is an old saying...Figures don't lye but liars figure.>>

What are you implying?

<<Can you answer me this question. Why do you feel that current laws regarding violent acts committed against other people are insufficient?>>

Please rephrase the question as it does not make sense. However, I will say that most "regular" violent crimes are crimes of passion or need (the armed robber needs money) while hate crimes are primarily for the fun of it and premeditated. I believe that stiffer penalties would reduce hate crimes.

Erase Hate (see we can agree)
