Maybe it's AAPL's recent 15 point runup.

If a dead company like Apple and the Mac can make money perhaps there's potential for CPQ.

on the big board, shares of Compaq (NYSE:CPQ - news) surged more than $2 to $25.12 as money managers started to take note of the company's nascent plans for a turnaround. Though many feel that Compaq has a lot of tough choices to make regarding cost cuts, it still possesses a strong technology base and a blue chip customer list.
