Hi Bob...I agree...but I just refuse to get worked up about it. The only way not to get worked up is don't let 'em win.

I play these second tier companies all the time (almost exclusively), fully aware of this kind of potential for disaster. The key is to diversify. I have never played a 10 stock portfolio that failed to make some profit.

If you play anything but the very top stocks...you are at risk.

So I take the risk 'cause that's where the rewards are...but I cut the risk to a minimum.

That's why I bore people to death with the 10% scenario...it works but it takes work.

Take CS as an example...what happens if a former employee accuses them of cooking the books? It gets cut 1/3 to 1/2 Monday even if it's a lie, it takes forever to recover. I'm not trying to scare anyone, I own CS but I'll not overweight, no matter what. Because it sets a bad precedent on how to trade IMO.

This is not a slam at Tim by any means, he knows what he's doing, he knows how to play. I hope everyone else does.

You have to be prepared for this stuff 'cause everyone will get caught at some point or another.

Nobody will protect you but you.

Obviously this is not directed at you Bob, just ranting but I know of what I speak.

I really do have to go.

Be careful out there. <g>
