a small rise is all we need to break the dam.... like i said.. it will go VERY quickly when it goes. I expect it to simply gap up 50 or $100 one morning in the future... who knows when that will be, but the shares seem to be saying "SOON"

i continue to sit and wait patiently w/ my shares taking dividends

Heinz, i see you are taking the weekends 'off' these days...good for you !!

eh, the funny thing i see about gold stocks(and i may be looking to see this ) is that it goes up a day or half day, and , voila, the gains get reversed...i hate to think there is conspiracy, but gosh...golds runnin' a race with iron chains round its legs...it seems to be the reverse of the 'ramp job' we can time our afternoon coffee break to <ng>

i read another toronto market paper here and the writer, a sane and savvy veteran with a terrific track record, did suggest some collusion in the futures mkt re the us indexes...he says we are in a frenzy season , no doubt, but it may take a few months (or it may be less) to resolve itself...

he advocates stops on all stocks and only has a small # in his model portfolio...

lol
