Great PPI #'s??? Are there people out there that don't have to buy food and energy???? Ummmmm WHEN WILL THEY WAKE UP??? I guess the market really gets excited when we get great deals on video games and designer dog sweaters but doesn't care that food and gas have gotten more expensive. I am an idiot, I guess , but I got short near the close today....but now I feel a bit stupid. After all why wouldn't this market keep rising??? That's all it has done for 17 years , more or less. Why would a little interst rate hike...or overvaluation of almost every finacial asset...or rampant speculation...or thousands of new, inexperienced, nervous, daytraders....or an insane A/D line..or a 50 year cycle...or...or...or....make a difference??? It hasn't so far.
