HP's plan to take equity instead of cash is a bad idea. What in the world does that have to do with the business of selling hardware? Nada.

I hope Sun never loses focus like that.

Sounds like if the new philosophy is to finance the customers purchase of equipment maybe sunw needs to hook up with somebody like ge capital.

I noticed AHP is on your fav. list. I was thinking of diving into this one. With all it's problems etc... do you see this as a good
bottom? Do you follow it ? How does it compare to CPQ?
if one is bottom fisihng???? Or am I better of on shoreline then bottom fishing?
