Mama Bear, on the contrary. I believe shortsellers are necessary to keep market balance. Without shorts, unscrupulous hypers would manipulate the masses creating similar misery (similar to the one I referred to in the post you replied to) to ignorant investors. What I am against is bashing stocks and spreading false information for profit. That was done in the case of SNMM and continues as we speak in the SNMM board. Why do people have to laugh at those who have lost money in the market just because they are in the positive side of the trade? I see that done all the time and it truly makes me wonder about human nature. I have also shorted stocks profitably, but never laughed nor ridiculed anyone rubbing my success on their face.
