Donald Weeden of Weeden & Company... When I was reviewing MetaMarkets.com's "angel investors" which, of course, includes Peter Sprague, I noticed the bit about how the group of investors were organized by the venture arm of Weeden & Co. Well, I thought that rang a bell. Donald Weeden of Weeden & Company was one of the early private investors in Wave Systems. You know, what does one make of that? Isn't it interesting how names so long associated with Wave Systems, i.e., Nicholas Negroponte and George Gilder and Weeden & Co. keep turning up... after TEN YEARS of slogging? Just a thought.
