Who is your boss at Digital? I don't know you, but I probably know him. If you have a PhD and you don't have people skill (obviously you don't), your best bet is to stay in academic field. You not only have wasted your time in pursuing a PhD, you have had to hide it and to lie about it. Sad story. But to me, the problem is not about PhD.
