it still makes business sense for both AFFX and INCY for them to cut a deal and get on with it, if they can get beyond the bad blood between them. There's plenty of room for both companies.

Would you please go advise these dopes, so they quit wasting our money?

RCM- your point >>but it still makes business sense for both AFFX and INCY for them to cut a deal and get on with it, >> is a very good one, and I see a good sign which may be pointing in that direction.

While studying yesterday's press releases from both companies, I was struck by the close similarity of what was said, who said it and the style of each release. My news service shows the releases came out within one minute of each other (as does Yahoo). All a coincidence? Maybe, but it seems more likely than not to me that the two releases were coordinated by the lawyers at each company. IMO, and for whatever its worth (probably nothing <G>), I see this as a positive sign that communication between the parties is occurring which could eventually lead to a settlement.

Regards to all,

Walter
