Richard, <<The IMF ...>> could help the GATA cause if one insider in that
organization would succumb to the guilt felt by knowing that all the money
sent to poor and weak nations were going to the corrupt few who rule thru
force and subject their citizens to a cruel life.

Seems like a stupid thought though after I remind myself that everyone is
aware of this through examples, especially after the Billions stolen
in the Russian IMF help. But its business as usual after a couple hollow
comments from the IMF saying it didn't know. Ok, so let the IMF play
dumb, but why does no Congress person or Senator stand up and point
to the chit on the table top and ask for it to be cleaned up.

Everyone knows its there, can see it and the smell stinks.

Most all projects connected to governments can be looked at and found
to be poorly managed and wasteful and ineffective.

The sooner this type of activity crumbles the better, as the longer it
goes on the more damage it does and the harder it will be to fix.

Would not surprise me if we are now seeing an increase rate of collape
for many poorly built house of cards and corrupted criminal activities.

I keep hearing that the recovery of Japan is gaining strength and
surprising many who thought it was not there to happen. Reminds me of
Russian's President Boris YellSin being very sick but held together with
strong drugs and medicine, and so people say he's better as in on a
road to recovery. Unlikely for him to continue much longer, and a day
will arrive where he goes from ok to extreme bad, quickly in a flash like
a step function with almost sharp corners. Like walking on a walkway of
wood that leads out over the water and ends without a barrier to stop you,
and YellSin can't see his feet and does not know when the end will happen.
It will and then surprise to many will be a situation of made up confusion
to develope into chaos and then a need for military order will be needed
to help a nation without leadership, and then those who keep YellSin up
and alive will put into place Law & Order. All present government structures
will be null and void. Those in control today with YellSin and those who
have control outside YellSin's power areas will join and rule.

Russia will go back to where it once was, but this time the information age
and new technology will let Russia produce wealth in a way to let it get out
of being a poor nation to a rich one. I wrote on SI last year that Russia
will be ruled by two equal and powerful forces, communism and the mob.
Communism will supply law and order and military and clean streets and
no crime and fear. The mob will be legalized and run the business of every
thing in Russia connected to money, and will not have to break any laws
or use force as there will be only one mob, elected ofcourse just like
Russia did in the past for government leaders.

These people behind Yellsin are ready and will not give up the
money and
power and control because only the military could prevent them,
not the people, and Russia's military leaders have had but no choice but
to join either the mob or political insiders just to keep going, this unlike
old times when the military keep its distance from politics.

Yellsin will stop in a flash thru his own life giving out, or thru his supporters
if he keeps going too long.

Richard,

IMO, IMF decisions are based more on politics than actual needs. I am sometimes shocked at the loans they make and the justification they use to fund certain regimes, like Suharto's.

Just keep watching the drama unfold. There is more to IMF & gold sales than what is published !!!!
