Dan,

While I am a little disappointed in this running battle I must admit that you have been producing the same numbers on LSI Logic's earnings that Jock and Shane did in their battle on LSI's thread. Sorry Ron, but Dan has my vote on this one. He is a straight shooter who has his facts in order. I hope that you have better luck in the desert this weekend than you did on this thread this past week.

Cheers,

Steve

<Shouldn't Ron provide some backing for his numbers to prove he's not just a Yahoo! poster wannabe?>

Yup. Your analysis on LSI seems far more cogent than Ron's, FWIW.

Also, I would argue that anyone who is truly savvy about money would only be going to Vegas to conduct DD on a company like PPE or HET. Of course, Wine Spectator did do a nice profile on some great new restaurants in Vegas, so maybe things have changed. The last time I was there, I only remember the buffets of aggressively mediocre food being assaulted by hordes of obese Americans feeding at the trough and talking about how cheap and good the food was.

Personally, I'll put my money on the house, not on the slots and take my winnings to The Four Seasons in the Big Apple.

Daniel's Pro-forma analysis of LSI fits my idea of intelligent research. Thanks for taking the time to do the hard work DWB and share it with the thread, DWB.
