That's still a lot of movement before a sell though. In this sense, PnF is definitely for longer timeframes. I haven't followed NDX/QQQ for very long... got interested in it a month or so ago because I learned that one could trade options on QQQ. But in that short timeframe, with NDX Fri close at 2534, I see no reason why it wouldn't make it back to 2500 easy sometime next week if not on Monday. From my understanding PnF BP's keep you on the right side of a move 80% of the time... it definitely lags. What I like about it (especially for an index like NDX or SPX) is that it 'levels' each stock in an index and gives each one vote, rather than the weighting the index has (mktcap, price-weighted, etc.). That's also why I like the concept behind Jim's DVI... I just need to play with it myself before I can discern anything useful about it. :-) Which BTW, for the #'s that I keep, NDX +1.15%, 10day -2.42% and 3mo +1.16%. It could be that the buying is spreading out to the other 90 stocks in NDX--which would be a good thing. There seem to be a lot of laggard stocks starting make moves. I'm giving chartseer until next week to return <g>. He's probably been on one well-deserved long vacation, but it's time to get to work 'cause I need the break from these nightly postings <gg>.
