BD,unfortunately there are many laws on the books that are unjust. In many cases they should be changed but, the only way they can be changed at the present time is through the system or by revolution.I don't think revolution is an acceptable option. The people that do not agree with a law, should get involved in politics at the grass roots level and work up from there. If they have enough support from others to change the law, progress can snowball in to the action you are after. This may be a slow and ponderous task but,do you know any other way?

I do not know of the rumors about hazing at Yale and suppose that there is no substantiation. I can only say, having attended Texas A & M in the 50s,I am no stranger to hazing. It sometimes gets out of hand from youthful exuberance and, though it is inexcusable,it happens. Nobody on anybody's political ticket is an angel and,as usual,we will be faced with voting for the lesser of the two evils. Again, instead of sitting here jawing about it,all of us should get out and jump into the fray from the county conventions on up the ladder. If you,or anybody, doesn't do something about it,they lose the right to say something about it...TD

Also, if you want the younger generation to be better citizens, you must be sure to be one yourself...T
