Sonki,

For an existing system with an AGP video card already installed, that is correct. Don't know why they told you that you HAVE to buy the card thru Gigabuys, unless there is some restriction that the PCI card has to be the same brand as your existing AGP card. The Jeronimo solution we discussed is a one card solution that can be bought when outfitting a brand new machine.... You better check with Dell to make sure the machine you ordered has a spare slot, depending on how loaded it is this could be a problem, and if so, will blow you out of the water in regard to dual monitor support...

Good luck,
John

Sonki,
Don't know why Dell doesn't want to acknowledge that some of us like multiple monitors. I called my neighborhood pc guru kid and he installed an ATI card and I can run up to three monitors with it. I have a DELL 450 Dimension that I bought in Dec .
I don't know how I ever managed without the multiple monitors. One may run two browsers at the same time, quote screen and charts .
I believe there is a thread on SI that mentions multiple monitors. Called "Build your dream machine" or something like that.
Good luck
Judith
