I've read that investment decisions made by large funds are made after committee presentations and votes. So, they all read the analyst reports and wade cautiously into a particular long-term position. In an institutional game of chicken, as soon as they see the volume picking up, they know they have to jump in before it's too late. Just a very speculative theory... djane

Valueman, I feel the market is there. It depends on handset production and marketing I guess. I feel it is possible, but don't understand the mechanics and they are sure not going into detail how it will be done. There is a certain amount of trust on my part, I guess. I don't consider it blind faith since as I said, I feel the market is there and the numbers of production are possible. I base this on all the due diligence I am capable of - I have put a ton of effort into this one. There is a certain trust implicit in investing. Even if they did take the time to explain to a novice like me the mechanics of how they would do it, they could be lying. If they are lying now, I suppose I might get burned if I don't realize it before everyone else. Based upon what I know about the players involved, I think that is a low risk proposition I'm willing to take given the potential reward.

The good off the record stuff probably only goes to those who control over a million shares or so - people who can move the market. If you are one of those folks, that blows my theory all to hell of course. And I don't think the good stuff came out till the end (as I understand Thursday pm) again to give the illusion of complete propriety on the part of g* and the players involved. Of course this is all just wild speculation on my part, but as long as it seems real to me, and the stock price goes up, I'll go with it.

Regards, Dave
