WHY I STILL OWN COMPAQ:

1. The company is still a leader in the enterprise computer business, storage systems, servers and personal computers. Their market share is still strong and generally growing.

2. I believe the present management will correct the most serious problems left behind by the previous managers.

3. The PRICE TO SALES RATIO Compaq is much lower than its main competitors. That tells me that when management gets its act together they should be able to get the price to sales ratio closer to what the competitor's have.
Price/Sales Ratios (9/3/99)
IBM = 2.78
HP = 2.39
DELL = 6.23
CPQ = 1.04

CPQ should be about $50 a share one year from now, and $70 a share two years from now.
