Chuck,I have always been dubious of the time frame analysis by the "scholars" and literalists, and I don't think the time frame is really all that significant. One thing I know,in my heart,is that the basic message rings true, loud and clear, for all who will read and believe.

At one time there were those that denied the existence of Jesus of Nazareth and that there was a messiah of that time and name. Then I read a book that was very dry reading but was quite impressive. It should pique the interest of lawyers. It is titled "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. You may have already read it but thought I would mention it.

In another vein,I got the wolf book today and was very impressed. The quality was excellent, delivery was prompt, and packaging could have protected a dozen eggs even in our postal service. Again, thanks for the lead...TD

You too are on the right track.

"Bible Scholars indeed"!!

Consider especially Jeremiah 4:23-25
23.I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24.I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25.I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. ...(Could this possibly be Noah's flood...or was it another flood?)
26.I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27.For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

And to God be all the glory!!

Have a good evening
Shalom...><>
