Gordon, Wasn't it MSDW's Edelstone who said in a MSDW report posted here that he thought 7.8B was possible? Your dream is "only" 200M higher. About 2 days sales at that rate. What I think will be especially interesting on 10/13 is what Intel will say about 4Q99 and 2000. Compared to a year ago when overblown problems in Asia were prompting forecasts and discussion of dire consequences, it sure is nice to hear positive, forward-looking statements coming from analysts. It's been weeks or more since I can recall hearing anything negative about Intel, unless you want to count the anti-Rambus crowd. How very strange. Your calls are like gold. At 144k per 10 points on INTC, if we have a autumn and winter like we did last year and like in 1996, you'll probably reach it. I hope you bought all of them in early June. Did you?
