It's not the current rate of progress that concerns me, it's "What have we missed".

I initially got into Y2K in mid '94 as an inventory tool vendor. I didn't make my fortune. Neither did the guy who followed. This was an industrial strength tool ($85,000 competing with Viasoft's $600,000 offering) for IBM mainframe sites only.

Long story short...I don't get the sense that companies actually did an inventory (fill in PhD length discussions for meaning of "inventory").

And then you guys "missed two major systems"...

Increasingly concerned...

Sometimes "mission critical systems" are missed. I believe there will be a lot of paper and pencils sold next year.
