" Message 11222277 btw, as you can see the attack made no sense and had nothing to do with what I posted - other than what is his specialty, the cheap personal attack.

What has struck me about this thread so far is that the participants, for the most part, have ignored the liberal-bashing thread header and have had a good time, I think, debating some really hot-button issues in a civil fashion. When I first saw those words "abortion" and "homosexuality" appear, I really expected the blood to start running down my monitor. But I saw hardly a drop! For SI, that's quite a feat. Don't spoil it. Hear hear. It's what I tried to say about 300 posts ago, but you said it much better. As usual. Sigh. Fortunately I don't have an ego problem, or you would give me a distinct inferiority complex!
