Don't feel badly.

We've had the same number since 1986.
Right from the outset, we received calls at all
hours of the night for Princess. The callers
were almost always male and sounded like they had been
drinking.

We finally concluded that Princess's name and number must
be scrawled near the telephone in some local bar. You know, for a good time call.......

These calls ceased not long after a local bar closed. We thus concluded that the offending scrawling emanated from that locale.

Oddly, over the past few months a couple of other calls for Princess have come in. Seems like some folks must have had a good time and wished to relive the experience.

I can report that Princess has never telephoned to inquire about her messages. I've been saving up for that day, though.<g>

Perhaps I'll use your evil thought concept next time a call for Princess comes in, if ever. You know: You're the 500th caller for Princess today! Just meet her at the usual location and the service will be free!!!

NOT!
