One Lucky Person Could Win Millions During Halftime of National
College Championship Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprint PCS today announced its Sprint PCS $2 Million Challenge
sweepstakes. The sweepstakes selects a contestant for the Nokia $2 Million Toss that will take place during halftime of the
Nokia Sugar Bowl 2000 National Championship Game. One lucky contestant will have the opportunity to win the $2 million on
the field of the Superdome in New Orleans Jan. 4, 2000.

During the challenge, a celebrity NFL quarterback has four throws at the phone, each worth $50,000. After the four throws,
the contestant has the possibility to increase the amount won by the NFL quarterback by ten-fold if the contestant is then
successful with one toss of a football through a hole in a giant Nokia phone.

The Sprint PCS $2 Million Challenge contestant will be drawn from a pool of consumers who registered for the promotion by
calling 1-877-WIN-2MIL (1-877-946-2645) or by visiting the Sprint PCS web site: www.sprintpcswin2mil.com . The grand
prize winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to the Nokia Sugar Bowl, including coach round-trip airfare for two, three
nights accommodations, ground transportation, two general admission tickets to the Nokia Sugar Bowl as well as the chance to
win $2,000,000. Five first place winners will also receive an all-expense paid trip to the Nokia Sugar Bowl 2000, including
accommodations, airfare and two tickets to the game.
