Does any nation or international organization actually recognize Tibet as an independent country? I didn't know that! Wonder what the PRC thinks about it.

I do know there are still about a dozen countries that recognize the government of Taiwan as the Republic of China.

...and Kuwait was part of Iraq de facto, but not for long.

Consider this for a moment: No nation on earth acknowledges Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights or the West Bank, but it appears you are arguing that it is an accepted fact. I disagree.
