I've tried many different ways. One question I would love an answer to is the authority to be granted Torah or the Old Testament. How does one decide whether to obery or disregard it? How would a Christian or a Jew decide to obery or even interpret the Law? The OT orders people to stone others for not being virgins or plotting to follow other Gods. Do Jews consider Jesus "another god" whose followers must be stoned? Do Christians completely or selectively ignore Mosaic Law. I would love to know how anyone can reconcile these conflicts to their own satisfaction. Instead, people (like you) just ignore the problems of consistency and truth. It amazes me that millions of people thinking about religion cannot come up with any rational explanation for their own beliefs. I think I'm being reasonable when I reject as nonsense people's beliefs when they cannot understand them themselves. I wouldn't mind if they would keep their confusion to themselves. But so many of them want to impose their confusion on other people.
