Are you talking about components for a network switch or router?. Routers and switches can take advantage of high bandwidth memory. Relatively small memory market, though.

You're comparing holsteins and hand grenades again. The discussion was about PC's and why desktop computer memory bandwidth is totally irrelevant to internet streaming video applications.

Rambus can be suitable for video cards(though I'm starting to have doubts about that), video games, and may also be appropriate for certain routers and switches. That has nothing to do with the discussion you were referring to.

If you have a link to a router application I'd be interested in seeing it.
