Lee...re:inflation......as your Dr. Kronkite might say "baloney boobeleh"; the inflation Greenspan is so afraid having return occurred bec of the money supply for sure but moreso because companies were playing the same game oil is playing now; namely, raise the price if you can get away with it (just as labor was "in your face" with its demands) Esp. in the late 70s and 80s cuz Nixon had been so hammered for price fixing that the guv was never going to step in again and "jawbone" the cos. (And Reagan took care of the labor situation by risking a couple of thousand lives in the hands of "newbie" traffic controllers) Greenspan is trying basically to reassert some control that is more appropriate. But as always, check out the gas pump, if we consumers let them, both management and labor will come after our hard earned online pickins. Thank you for your attn. Anybody there still?
