Here's some fun homework. This site has "call/put" ratios in dollar volume not contract volume. (note it is call/put not put/call). take a chart of the DOW and look at or near key reversal days (for example the middle of July or the beginning and end of August or as far back as you want to) Now look at which way investors were voting at these points.
