NTRO has major alliances[LU] and appears to have the right product at the right time. This is an Infrastructure Power Play in the Wireless sector and that is what attracts me the most.

I talked to Greg Naderi, today about NTRO...The reason NTRO is not talking much is because they are in negotiations and have to remain tight lipped...He also iterated that they are a bit cryptic and secretive about their Business and plans, there were several encouraging comments with regards to their superior technology and Yes they are the only ones doing what they do...they have the market and Merril's estimates were purposely conservative...imho. I was also able to get a handle on the equipment #'s and units being installed per market...He stated that they{netro} are beginning to reap
some harvest...sales from their demo's as well and their equipment is indeed as flawless as previously indicated.

He made a point that their cost and time to market makes them in the right place at the right time.

In case no one remembers who Greg Naderi, is he was the analyst quoted on the CNBC article on 9/11
cnbc.com
" Naderi says. He expects Netro to announce at least one major new deal with a telecom provider or major ISP within the next few days or weeks."

Byron,

I would love to talk in detail about this upcoming news, however, I am currently under N.D.A. When the news does hit the wire, I will make myself available for comments, questions, and industry insights. However, I can talk about their 9/21/99 press release. I will be in the office at 10:00 A.M. PST tomorrow morning. Go ahead a drop me a line when you get the chance. Talk to you soon.

that is the proof of what I am saying... yes there was a bit more but, that is all I will say for now.

by the by, Netro's decline obviously was not Netro specific
the whole market took a dump starting at about 3pm...

nothing has changed with Netro in fact, they are poised for explosive growth and when the "news" does finally hit hopefully, on a decent market day, we shall benefit.

I do agree with the fact that the releases have not been handled very well but, i remain confident in netro's product and the fact that they are gaining acceptance even tho it is not reflected in today's price...

cheers
