kami,

although u didnt ask for my opinion, perhaps i'll throw in my two cents...brcm has done quite well over the past yr as the broadband access mkt. within the cable, dsl and satellite industry has exploded...they make the chips that deal with filtering, equilizing, synthesizing data to enhance data transmission...ntro provides wireless networking equipment through their airstar system...it provides high speed connections by using a single central radio unit that disperses it to multiple locations/points...it is able to dynamically allocate capacity based on need and their point to multi-point system will reduce the start up cost that ultimately makes it attractive esp. to cash poor countries such as south america, europe and asia...their relationship with lucent is crucial as it gives them credibility and a reliable source of future revenues...imo wireless access will ultimately win out over dsl technolgy and cable as their advantage with respect to startup cost, expandibilty potential, speed of service(potential of 45 Mb's versus 7 mbs for dsl and even less for cable) will ultimately allow ntro to be a major player in this sector...ntro is essentially first to mkt. for this sector and this sector is expected to grow from a 330M mkt last yr to 3-5B within 5 yrs...a testament to my belief is the fact that my cost average in ntro( btw next to softbank my largest holding) is 12 dollars(hence in very early)...have been following this company for 2 months now...im quite comfortable with my opinions we will see $80/share by christmas(maybe sooner)...jmho.
