As Dr. Kronkite's wife (who got him thru medical school by designing new microchips under a pseudonym) said to Dr. Kronkite's candidate for girlfriend of the month, "cute is not a substitute for thinking".....so it is that "the gov prints money is a misnomer" the guv does steal money but it steals our money, taxes, and when it decides to give it back to us, rather than the army, the medical profess, etc., the economy prospers. That's not printing money, that's giving us our money to screw around with (and pay too much for goods) if we want. Inflation is our doing. That's my story, ie. not Milton Friedman's, and I'm sticking to it (until the market opens and proves me wrong about everything again.)
