Charles,

I will try and verify this story early this week. I have no doubt that some of it is true. The K8 (it is well known) was being designed in parallel with the K7 and shared common functional blocks (just like most processors do today, for example the P6 core shares the same fpu as the p54c (basically))

Re: "This is FUD - pure and simple. Someone is feeding this to the Registrar and since Regitrar doesn't seem to have any filtering process they are taking it. This article could have been about any company in the valley and it would have been right. Especially on the semi side - the savvy guys are taking systems and software jobs if they can get what they want at the right startup. "

So you say it's FUD, than you say it's true! So according to you, it's not just a rumor and it's not FUD.
