Chuck, a lot of the new Christians(called Faith based Christians) already meet in homes, parks, and buildings built for the purpose of gathering together to worship but they are not commonly called churches. I was going to say "meeting houses" but that might be confused with the Quakers or Jehovah's Witnesses. We are not, however "underground".
