Ok sorry, back to Borders

I purchased a CD yesterday from Borders after listening to it first in one of those sample CD stations. The price was $16.99, after Michigan sales tax of 6% it came to $18.01. It is an obscure collection of some trance dance tracks recently released.

Back home I decided to do a comparison with the online competition:

-CDNow
They did not have it!
-Amazon
Price was $12.98. With a standard shipping charge of $3.00 and $0.95 per CD it came to $16.93. Standard shipping is three to seven business days and this one could be shipped immediately. I would probably get it within 3 business days (my guess).
-Buy.com
They did not have it!
Borders.com
Price was $14.44. With standard shipping of $3.95 total $18.39. 3-7 business days but it could be shipped immediately.

Needless to say I am glad I boutght it and listened to it right away...

NOte: I do not shop at Barnes & Noble as a matter of principle<g>

As far as the stock goes, It appears to be a good value but I have not done intensive research and I am weary of the intense competition and tiny profit margins in the industry.

Watching...
