Oh, it will, no doubt about that. It supports 64 OC-12 ports to 32 for JNPR M40 and 44 for CSCO 12012.

It also offers up to 128 10/100 ports compared to zero for JNPR and CSCO, 32 GE ports compared to 10 for CSCO and none for you.

Then there is the 40Gbps backplane speed, double yours and better than CSCO's 25Gbps.

Did I mention the 26 million packets per second forwarding speed versus 20 million for JNPR and 10 million for CSCO?

Or the fact that Linux Router scales to 4 times these numbers (over 100 million PPS) and JNPR and CSCO do not scale at all?

Oh, and your OC-12 line cards currently sell for $25,000, but won't for much longer, as MRVC will sell theirs for $14,484.

And how many other products is JNPR selling. The Linux Router is just one of many new products. See our announcement tomorrow on the product to compete with Redback.

The only area you have better is you beat MRVC to market. I suppose all these deficiencies are made up by all of JNPR's profits.

There ARE profits aren't there?
