>>Its hand to mouth out there and no inventory.<< chas, that's very interesting news, if true. please cite your source (you know what brian thinks of folks who don't cite a source - heck, at least cite your next door neighbor b/c she is probably a better source than idc ;-) i'm talking about oem computer mfrs. are you saying they don't have inventory or are talking about some other type of "folks?" per the article cited by fred, retail unit volume is flat, at best. a second article cited by fred said major business computer spending was going to drop dramatically about this time. i look forward to you citing your source - assuming we are talking about the same "folks." tia...
