Hi, Lalit, and all: Well, I'm back! In all my irrascible splendor and glory.
I've been dug in and disconnected for about 5 months now, as I put together
the last piece of my Y2K planning...locating and filing claims on a goldmine,
a real live, living and breathing, not-worked-since-the-late-1800s- 140A parcel of my own, high in the Eastern Oregon Mountains.
As turned out, finding it and getting the claims filed, approved, issued, and
the assessment work done and filed before 8/31 turned out to be
