I have also heard that the ticket volume of electronic brokers and daytrading firms are both down, as well. I expect this trend will reverse once the summer is over and 3Q earnings reports start coming in. Unfortunately, the recent Atlanta tragedy and unfair media publicity has begun to adversely affect the industry.

Hopefully, things will pick up soon and the market will again attract the interest of more traders.
