I don't know about Africanized Bees but we have ground hornets. Look like sweat bees and live in the ground. A sting sends out a signal for all the others to attack. I went into the Illinois River once after 4 stings. A mile up the road a guy was mowing ditches and they found him dead with over 1,000 stings.

Once I was drilling holes for a fence with an International 400 and disturbed a nest. Instantly 1,000s attacked the tractor but not me. I moved very carefully getting out of there.

A colony of about one million Africanized bees was just found in LA
County. They had taken over some hives without the beekeeper noticing
it. Not until he was mowing his lawn nearby, and they attacked him. He's been in the hospital for a couple of weeks.

Great. That's just goddam great.

I want something done about it.
And I think you, or someone, should do it.
I don't know "how." To fix it.

I know they'll kill me.

It's just an effing given.

I am scared.

And if you think that's funny, I hope they get you, Mr Africanized Bee Scientist.
